The city of Santisisma Trinidad (today, Trinidad) belongs to the province of Sancti Spiritus, at 290 km from the city of Havana and at 70 km from the provincial capital.

Trinidad, a city with its coasts on the Caribbean Sea is located in a valley protected by the majestic mountain range of Sierra del Escambray.
